Mitch has over 40 years experience as an academic general and community paediatrician previously holding consultant posts in Nottingham and North West London (Northwick Park Hospital) with specialist expertise in general paediatrics and child development. He qualified from UCL and trained at several London hospitals including Great Ormond Street and the Institute of Child Health.
He is Emeritus Professor of Paediatrics and Child Public Health at Imperial College London where he is proud to have trained over 10,000 doctors in his career.
Mitch has worked as an advisor to the Dept. Of Health England, WHOEurope, UNICEF, RCPCH and Institute of Health Visiting and is a visiting Professor at Ingram Institute, Sydney Australia.
He has over 200 peer reviewed papers and has published several textbooks in paediatrics and child health. His other qualifications include Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians, Paediatrics and Child Health, Faculty of Public Health, American Pediatric Association and the Higher Education Authority UK.
Mitch believes in providing holistic preventative health care as a fundamental service to all. He is married to a psychotherapist and has two adult children in business.
