After completing his medical degrees at Cambridge University and University College London, Rob undertook postgraduate training and advanced Fellowships at leading London children’s hospitals, trauma centres and specialist units, including Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and the CATS critical care retrieval service based at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is one of a small number of paediatric consultants formally accredited as a subspecialist in paediatric emergency medicine, and is recognised as such on the GMC Specialist Register.
Rob has worked around the world, published international academic research, and is regularly invited to join the teaching faculty at centres across the UK, training doctors on a variety of courses and programmes. He is appointed as subspecialist Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, and Consultant Risk Lead in General Paediatrics, at Barnet Hospital, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. He is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Rob has a particular interest in acute paediatrics, and helping families access exactly the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
He is a proud father of two and lives locally with his family.
