Specialist nutritional assessment, treatment, and early intervention for babies, children and teenagers
Paediatric dietitians are qualified, regulated clinicians who help ensure that infants, children, and teenagers receive the right nutrition for healthy growth and development. They assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional problems at all stages, from preterm infants to adolescents.
Dietitians work closely with families and other professionals, including paediatricians, GPs, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, health visitors, nurseries, and schools.
Each consultation is tailored to your child’s individual needs and may include:
– Reviewing growth and growth history
– Considering recent blood test results and clinical presentation
– Assessing food intake against estimated nutritional requirements
– Exploring environmental and behavioural factors
– Providing practical, evidence-based advice for day-to-day life
We offer comprehensive dietetic assessments and treatment plans, tailored to your child’s age, medical history, and nutritional needs.
