Dr Deeksha Elwadhi is a UK trained Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on the specialist register, with over 10 years of clinical experience internationally and in the UK. She has advanced academic training in Global Mental Health from King’s College London and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

Deeksha specialises in the assessment and treatment of complex mental health difficulties in children and young people, including neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD, and associated co morbidities. She is formally trained in diagnostic assessments, including the ADOS 2, ADI R, and 3Di, and combine these with comprehensive clinical interviews, developmental history, and a holistic understanding of each child’s emotional, family, and social environment.

She is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mentalisation Based Treatment for Adolescents (MBT A) and works from a trauma informed perspective. Her clinical practice integrates psychological principles alongside psychopharmacological treatment to provide thoughtful, individualised care. She aims to create a calm, non judgemental space for children, young people, and their parents, offering clear guidance, careful formulation, and bespoke treatment that genuinely fits the child and their family.

Outside of clinical work, Deeksha enjoys pondering and wandering with an ever present cup of coffee.
