Laura is a Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist who trained at the Tavistock Centre in London.
She has over 20 years of experience working with children, young people and families across a range of NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Most recently, Laura was Principal Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist at a specialist mental health charity, where she provided clinical supervision and therapeutic support for young people aged 12–24.
Laura currently works in a CAMHS team supporting families with children under the age of five. She has extensive experience helping children and young people with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and developmental difficulties and understands the different challenges that can arise at different transitions during childhood and adolescence.
Laura has a particular interest in parent–infant psychotherapy and in working therapeutically with parents and carers. Her work aims to strengthen parent–child relationships, improve communication, and help parents develop their understanding of their child’s emotional experiences and needs.
Laura offers specialist psychoanalytic psychotherapy and therapeutic consultations for children and young people up to the age of 25. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to understanding the unique experiences of every child, young person and family.
